Iron Remove Device
There are generally four methods for removing iron ions from water: coagulation method, chemical precipitation method, manganese sand filtration method, and lime alkalization method.
1. Coagulation method for removing iron ions
When iron salt in water exists in the form of Iron(III) oxide-hydroxide colloid or organic compound colloid (such as Humic acid iron), coagulants can be used to destabilize the colloid, agglomerate it into large particles, and remove it in the clarification and filtration process.
2. Manganese sand filtration method for removing iron ions.
3. Chemical precipitation method or alkalization method for removing iron ions
When the content of SO42- in water is high, the removal of iron ions from the water cannot be achieved through aeration, but through chemical precipitation.
